CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY            

Restores maximum mobility and proper alignment to the skull and releases tension in the Fascial (membrane) system in order to reduce pain and improve the
health of the entire body.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Loosens Fascia of Neck and Shoulder area for balance and increase of range of motion.

ACTIVE EXERCISE

Increases range of motion of Neck and Shoulders if it is restricted or unbalanced.

TENS

(Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)

Provides relief of pain for more difficult pain patterns.

POSTURAL CORRECTION

Corrects Postural deviations that are contributing to chronic nature of Headache patients.

RELAXATION TECHNIQUES

Provides Self-Help progressive relaxation routines to release tightness commonly identified in the Facial, Jaw, Cervical and Shoulder muscles of the Headache sufferer.

SELF MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES

  • Ice/Heat Applications to improve circulation
  •  Accupressure formula to reduce pain
  • Occipital-Cranial Base Release techniques to improve the efficiency of fluid flow from the Cranium to the body.

 

These programs are used in combination and are customized according to each individual patient.  Although Manual Therapy is extremely effective in reducing or resolving Headache discomfort, we also stress the importance of the patient’s participating in the program.  The patient is taught to take responsibility for their Headache through non-invasive self-management techniques in order to minimize or prevent future occurrences.
