At Carousel Physical Therapy, we can help you restore the harmony and function of your jaw. TMJ disorders are complicated and challenging.  We offer a variety of treatment techniques to assist your TMJ in moving smoothly.

  • CRANIO-SACRAL THERAPY/MYOFASCIAL RELEASE restores maximum mobility to the Cranium and releases tension in the Fascial membrane system thus reducing and restoring normal function of the jaw.
  • MOBILIZATION releases the restrictions around the joint and muscles to restore range of motion, and reduce stiffness and pain
  • POSTURAL TRAINING  improves the position of your Head, Neck and Shoulders which  assists in the realignment of your  jaw
  • JAW EXERCISES improve flexibility and range of motion
  • ELECTRICAL STIMULATION sends an electrical impulse through the skin which causes the muscle to contract.  This “exercises”, and relaxes the muscles surrounding the joint, aids circulation and relieves pain
  • ULTRASOUND sends painless high frequency sound waves into the joint which reduce the inflammatory response created by the occlusion
